Jason H. Deere

Jason Deere is a partner and co-founder of Sumner Deere. Before establishing the firm, Jason was a partner in the Buckhead office of Lueder, Larkin & Hunter, where his practice focused on general liability and healthcare defense across Georgia.

Jason specializes in medical, dental, and chiropractic malpractice defense, as well as automobile and premises liability. His approach combines careful case analysis with the tenacity and preparation that complex civil defense demands.

Prior to his litigation career, Jason worked as in-house counsel for a national telecommunications distribution company, providing legal and regulatory support for wireless device protection programs serving millions of subscribers across the United States and Canada. That in-house background — where legal decisions have direct and immediate business consequences — gives Jason a practical, results-focused perspective that benefits every client he represents.

Jason earned his law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law, where he was a member of the Journal of Dispute Resolution and served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Lewis M. Blanton, Federal Magistrate, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
